Now proud member of In Real Life

In Real Life. That’s the name of a new open and sharing network for professional web enthusiasts in Denmark. And I have just been accepted as (I believe) one of the first members. And I’m pretty proud of it.

In Real Life (IRL) is organized by Laura Kiralfy and Henriette Weber, whom I know from various different meet-ups, conferences etc. including BarCamp Copenhagen in January, which was kind of an eye opener to me.

I think it’s utterly important to be part of forums such as this. Because if you allow yourself the time and the patience to get submerged into this sphere of idea development, creativity, discussion, openness and fun, there’s potentially no limit to how much smarter you get on what it is that you do in your day job.

IRL is organizing a workshop on advanced community building on June 25. Sadly I won’t be able to be there, as I’m in the US at that time, but knowing Henriette I advice you to consider going. It’s bound to be interesting.
