New site - now in English

nyhed1.jpgVadnu.com has undergone a transformation. It has switched languages, so from now on the Danish language is a thing of the past, and English is going to be the road forward.

Why switch? Two reasons. Number one is that since I’m engulfed in a lot of discussions online, it made sense to let my site reflect the international aspect of my life online. Second I actually find it easier to express myself in English when writing online. Strange but true.

I hope you’ll find the new site useful. There are new pages on my background and my services. And furthermore I now have a page explaining some of the cases I have worked on plus a page about the entrepreneurial activities I’m pursuing in my sparetime.

Enjoy!

Big decision, I hope it works for you. You could offer your Danish readers a translation.

This plugin does the job: Scandinavian Translator.

It’s not perfect but quite impressive for a mashine translation. See the plugin in action (Danish to English) on my site: dSeneste.dk.

Disclaimer: I wrote the plugin but I have nothing to do with the translation.

Thanks. I’ll have a look at it.

You’re right about this being a big decision. However what I have found is that a lot of the questions I get from people are related to the things I write on my blogs on Journalisten.dk and MediaWatch.dk, and they are both in Danish. But maybe I will do as Stephanie Booth does in Switzerland, where she offers a small summary of the post in another language. I will have to think about that.
